This is a seven storey reinforced concreted framed office block building with a sub-basement, access road and parking area and sewer connection to the trunk sewer 0.4 km away. The challenging problem was underground water flow. To accord column free, the basement flow was laid on hardcore to act as drains colleting the water to a sump from where it is pumped out with one duty and one stand-by pump.  Basement walls were of stone masonry plastered and waterproofed with vandex. The total plinth area is 5,200m2
